American Healthcare Solutions Partners with DaVincian Technologies to Bring Hospitals the Ultimate Solution in Revenue Cycle Management

American Healthcare Solutions and DaVincian Technologies are joining forces to bring hospitals a prime solution to denied claims — claims that cost facilities time and money.

Denied claims, attributed to insurance eligibility and authorizations, place more than 2 percent of a providers’ revenue at risk. Claims that are either filed incorrectly or don’t include necessary information delay cash and increase overhead; re-filing these claims is estimated to cost providers from $8 to $29 per claim. The solution is the Fair Payment Program powered by DaVincian Technologies.

“It’s a productivity tool to assure that people do what they should do when they need to do it throughout the entire revenue cycle,” said Marv Rosenberg, a marketing representative with DaVincian Technologies.

The two major elements behind the program’s success are DaVincian Technologies’ Revenue Orchestrator software and on-site analysis and facilitation provided by American Healthcare Solutions. Together the components provide hospital staff with the tools they need to ensure personnel submit claims properly — the first time.

“There is an old adage that it is a bad idea to send out a carpenter to do a job without tools,” said American Healthcare Solutions President and CEO Jan Jennings. “Regrettably, many patient-accounting personnel have few or no tools to leverage their expertise to improve the cash flow and the profitability of their hospitals. Our Fair Payment Program developed in conjunction with our corporate partner DaVincian Technologies empowers the patient accounting function with user-friendly software and superb financial-advisory services.”

The software is composed of two modules — Challenger and Guardian. Challenger centralizes all revenue data and continually compares payments received against expected payments. The software then identifies denials, discrepancies and underpayments down to the procedure level. Challenger does this without user intervention, meaning staff members can focus on doing their jobs effectively, not on using the software.

The second module, Guardian ensures compliance and accuracy prior to the delivery of a service by interacting with registration and scheduling systems, ultimately making certain the hospital is compensated for all services rendered.

“There needs to be a level playing field between the health insurer and the hospital,” Jennings said. “Hospitals deserve to be paid in a fair manner for the services they provide. With this program offered by American Healthcare Solutions our client hospitals can be assured of fair payment and improved financial intelligence.”
