Concero Technology Teams with Costco, Health Net, and Aetna to Deliver Online Benefits Programs
Concero Technology, a leading provider of proprietary employee benefits insurance portals, announced today that Costco Executive Business Members in Washington can purchase and administer employee benefits insurance online. Concero expanded the wholesaler giants’ healthcare packages to include this user-friendly, cost-effective portal. Costco Wholesale members (NasdaqNM: COST) can now obtain quotes and enroll for health and dental insurance, and address various administrative issues online. In addition, members can view monthly invoices online as well as pay their premiums electronically.
“I’m excited about the expansion of our relationship with Costco to include their Washington members,” said Concero Technology CEO Alan Shiffer. “This is a perfect example of how value-driven firms like Costco can leverage technology to efficiently deliver valuable healthcare services to their small business members.”
Selected by Costco, Health Net (NYSE:HNT) and Aetna (NYSE:AET), Concero’s insurance portal enhances member services and substantially improves administrative efficiencies. Concero led the redesign and conversion of Costco member information from the previous health insurance organization to the new one, ensuring a smooth renewal process.
Washington is the fifth state in which Concero has enabled Costco to provide quality online small business benefits packages. Oregon, California, Hawaii and Nevada have similar programs; Washington is the first state in which Costco includes dental insurance as an option. It plans to implement dental and other products and services in other states in the future.
