CVS Caremark Launches Spanish Version of Caremark.com
CVS Caremark plan participants have access to most comprehensive Spanish-language Web site in PBM industry
WOONSOCKET, R.I., April 8 /PRNewswire/ — CVS Caremark (NYSE:CVS) today announced the launch of a Spanish version of Caremark.com. The Web site makes it easier for Spanish-speaking CVS Caremark plan participants to engage in their health care by providing them with online information and access to help manage their prescription benefits. Plan participants can access the Spanish Caremark.com Web site via a link on Caremark.com, or directly at http://espanol.caremark.com/. This launch is the first phase of an ongoing effort to maintain a consistent plan participant experience for both English and Spanish-speaking members.
“We developed Espanol.Caremark.com in response to feedback from our clients about the need for an on-line environment to help Spanish-speaking plan participants manage and understand their prescription benefit,” said Helena Foulkes, Executive Vice President at CVS Caremark. “The new site provides Spanish-speaking plan participants with the most comprehensive prescription benefit management site available today, and we will continue to enhance and expand upon the Spanish content available on the site.”
From Espanol.Caremark.com, plan participants have access to many key functions, including the ability to:
— Refill mail service prescriptions and check prescription order status
— View prescription history
— Access ordering information for new prescriptions
— Explore potential savings opportunities at the Savings Center
— View drug lists and check drug costs
— Find local pharmacies
— Access prescription plan information
— Print forms and ID cards (in Spanish)
— Manage account and prescription information for family members
“Being able to make the key functions of our on-line environment available in Spanish enables us to help our clients engage their plan participants in their own health care,” said Foulkes. “Espanol.Caremark.com is another example of how we continue to identify and implement programs that meet the needs and preferences of our clients and their plan participants or members.”
