NSF International Certifies Purity of Mannatech Products

NSF International, an independent, not-for-profit organization, that helps protect you by certifying products and writing standards for food, water, air and consumer goods such as dietary supplements, has certified the purity of Mannatech’s Ambrotose and Advanced Ambrotose glyconutritional supplements.

Mannatech is a leading developer and provider of dietary supplements and skin care solutions.
More information about the the Mannatech certification is available on the NSF website. There is also a Mannatech listing there, as well.
NSF International is a not-for-profit public health certification organization that makes sure that a product’s label reflects the contents of the supplement. They also make sure that all ingredients in the supplement are properly and openly disclosed on the label and that the product’s purity is acceptable.

NSF also assesses each manufacturing site to make sure that it complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). NSF will not certify a product unless the manufacturer meets these rigorous audits.
NSF evaluated the capsule and powder versions of the Ambrotose and Advanced Ambrotose supplements. The products were certified according to the NSF/ANSI 173 Dietary Supplement Standard — the only American National Standard for dietary supplements. Mannatech intends to carry the NSF certification mark on the supplements’ labels and promotional materials to demonstrate compliance.
Mannatech began the NSF certification process with its flagship Ambrotose products — the world’s first glyconutritional dietary supplements. These dietary supplement products include a patented blend of plant-sourced saccharides. More than 43 patents worldwide have been issued for the technology related to the Ambrotose complex formulation. Mannatech is working with NSF to certify additional products in Mannatech’s portfolio.
