AXA offers two new services for its Employee Benefits customers in Hong Kong [1] to improve mental health support and make related services and treatments easier to all employees and their dependents. The only mind health network includes general practitioners (GPs) with a psychology qualification and psychiatrists and clinical psychologists. A new digital one-stop platform for psychological consultation called Mindhealer on Emma, AXA’s mobile app.
A mind-health network that provides professional and customized counselling
AXA recognizes that finding reliable and qualified mind health professionals can be a burden on people suffering from mental stress. AXA has compiled the most complete market-wide list of healthcare professionals, including GPs with psychology degrees and certified psychiatrists. They also have clinical psychologists and clinical psychologists at 27 locations in Hong Kong. This will allow for professional counselling services. In the future, more mind health specialists will be invited into the network. The network list is available to all employees and dependents who are covered by AXA’s Employee benefits insurance policies [1] through platforms such as Employee Benefits Portal or Emma by AXA App. This greatly increases the availability of mental health consultations for those in need. In addition, the insured and their dependents have access to psychological counselling and psychiatric treatment currently offered by specialists in the AXA mind health network [2].
Mindhealer – A one-stop online consultation platform to get instant mental health assessments and support
To maintain a healthy mind, it is important to have access to support whenever you need it. AXA has launched Mind Healer on Emma to assist insured persons on their journey to mental health and overall wellbeing. This is to help those covered by AXA’s Employee Benefits policy [1] that are experiencing stress or other negative emotions. Mind Healer, in partnership with TheraTalk Hong Kong, can assess the user’s mental health. A simple assessment will determine if the user is eligible for online counselling.
