The Marketing and Corporate Communications Team at Crum & Forster has won two Showcase Awards – one gold and another silver – from the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association. C&F won gold for their 200 th anniversary producer event and partner at Ellis Island and silver for an exceptional year-long weekly internal communication email campaign called “200 thTuesdays”. The awards were given at the IMCA Ignite 2023 Conference held in Nashville, TN, from June 19-21.
Through its award program, the IMCA aims to highlight the best in insurance marketing, communications, and advertising. This includes individuals, teams and companies who represent the best that the insurance industry can offer.
C&F created a memorable event for partners and producers on Ellis Island to celebrate the company’s 200 thanniversary. Over 650 people attended, including President George W. Bush and Sara McLachlan. Prem Watsa was the Chairman & CEO of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited.
C&F’s internal communication email campaign 200 thTuesdays explored and celebrated the remarkable 200-year-history of the company, and fostered pride as employees learned milestones, innovation, and progress throughout the years.
Since 63 years the IMCA Showcase Awards has recognized the most innovative and effective work by the best minds working in the insurance marketing and communication industry. Competition is open to IMCA Members and Non-Members. This includes ad agencies who wish to submit their work for insurance industry clients. The entries are judged by a panel and given a Gold award, Silver award, or Bronze. The awards will be announced at the IMCA Ignite Conference.
