NextHealth Technologies Inc., a prescriptive analytics and consumer engagement platform that measurably reduces medical costs for health plans, announced that David H. Klein has joined its board. As a CEO with over 30 years of experience managing health plans and delivery systems, Mr. Klein brings extensive experience in strategy, operations and policy.
Mr. Klein is a special advisor to the CEO of the University of Rochester (U of R) Medical Center, a professor of public health sciences in the U of R School of Medicine and Dentistry, and an executive professor of health care management in the U of R William E. Simon Graduate School of Business. He serves as vice-chair and director of the New York eHealth Collaborative overseeing New York health IT. Mr. Klein is a member of the Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business Healthcare Advisory Board. He received his Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
